Last weekend we held our 2nd Annual Christmas Cookie Sleepover. Andrea and her daughter Sophia came over to help Jaz and I decorate homemade sugar cookies with *Christmas cheer*. We successfully made over 60 cookies without turning my house into a complete disaster. :-) I am very proud to say the girls donated their home-made cookies to the
Asbury's Children's Supper Hour. It is a great after school program here in Springfield,IL that provides under-privileged children with a warm meal as well as help with their homework and anything else that they might need. The girls' cookies will be given out tomorrow during their "Birthday Party for Jesus".
I think this is a great way to show the girls that they have a lot to be thankful for - not just during Christmas but all the time. After all, it is far better to give than receive.Merry Christmas!
